It's been SIX MONTHS since I last posted!!!!

I've become sort of a Facebook poster lately, so my apologies to anyone who has been relying on this blog.  Since posting from Cancun in February here are a few highlights of the last 6 months:
  • We've gotten a new precious granddaughter, Makenzie Grace Anderson (Jacob's first baby girl!)
  • Shelby and Joe announced they will become parents of a baby boy in October
  • Shelby came for a visit and had a baby shower
  • My mom, Pat Wiens came for a visit
  • Benjamin has gone to drive tour buses for cruise ship excursions in Skagway, Alaska (home early September)
  • Terry has resigned as president of TRA-Mage, focusing only as president of TRA Snow and Sun, Inc., which is thriving!
  • We had lots of fun this summer including games, parties and get-togethers
  • In an effort to determine what caused Terry's vision loss in his right eye, discovered what three doctors thought was a tumor in his brain.  He had no choice but to have a needle biopsy of this spot they thought was tumor in July.   The risk of losing vision in his remaining good eye was likely.  NO vision loss!  And not a tumor!  He has another scan scheduled for September and has never had any symptoms from this spot on the scan.  Diagnosis - T cell infiltrate - whatever the heck that is!
  • Terry has had a Rituxin infusion to keep his lymphoma in remission every two months.  No signs of lymphoma so far.
  • We've been to Lake Powell (three days after brain surgery!) and to Alaska for a week with Ben (caught salmon with bare hands, saw eagles, salmon and grizzly bears!).
There have been many ups and downs on this rollercoaster that has become our life, but right now we are enjoying an "up."  Here are a few pictures of highlights of the last 1/2 year.  For more, please become my friend on Facebook (Laurie Wiens Anderson)
