After the movie we headed to Nana's, where I did some things around the house and the kids painted or colored.
As soon as D saw the magnifying glass on my desk, all thoughts of painting or coloring exited his mind! He had been waiting for a sunny day at our house to try a science experiment for weeks! Out he went, grabbed some leaves and twigs and proceeded to burn them up. . . boys and fire - they're all the same!
After some time at the house, we suited up and headed over the the new city "splash pad." At first the kids were tentative, especially N, but it didn't take long and they were drenched all over and had cheesy grins on their faces.
Here D and "I" are braving the most powerful spray in the center of the splash pad.

Looks like D doesn't mind being surrounded by girls one bit!

D attacking one of the geysers.
The perfect beauty pose for Ms. Little Utah, I.
"I" wasn't worrying about getting her hair wet!
...Or her face...
N got right in there with the big kids.
The perfect perch for A watching the goings-on in the "river."
N enjoying the soft rush of water in the "river."
A danced around each geyser time and time again. I bet she was singing, but I couldn't hear!

I will be very sad when summer is over!
Maybe this is your first comment!!! What adorable grandkids - doing very fun things and best of all - new baby cousins. Love your blog. Vicki
