Beginning last Thursday afternoon, J and A's son, J, (I know, the initials are a pain, but you know who I'm writing about) stayed with us while his mommy and new baby brother went home from the hospital. To say he is "busy" is an understatement, but he's so fun to watch! I didn't take a lot of pictures because I was busy watching him be busy and didn't have much opportunity to take pictures. A's two daughters stayed overnight on Thursday and played with him. They're such cute cousins together. On Friday night T, J and I went to the Oquirrh Mtn. LDS Temple Open House. B was going to come, but had a LP football coaches' meeting. We forgot the stroller and found ourselves with back aches from carrying J. He's not fat at all, but he is definitely solid and heavy.
Saturday was a work in the yard day with J "helping" and playing in the fort and the gravel with trucks and tractors. The most amazing part of the time with J was how well he behaved at church on Sunday. The only word to describe it is "wow." He sat still, not saying a word and watching everything for the first 40 minutes of the meeting. I couldn't believe it! After that, he sat quietly on the bench, playing with puzzles, Fisher Price little people and books. Great job, J and A. Little J knew how to be reverent and did better than most 10 year olds!
I commented on this post too...weird. Thanks for taking Jared, I am glad that he was good for you. He always asks to go to Nana's house - he loves to see you!
