Yesterday was the 2nd Sunday of the month, so the kiddos and their kidlets came over. It was the first time the newest grandbabies had attended our traditional Sunday dinner. It was a lovely 80 degree day and so some of the time we were outside. T was on a business trip in China, so B was our head barbequer and he did a fantabulous job of marinating some flank steaks. Everyone gave him a thumbs up.
With so many people together, we spread out all over the house and yard. S and D spent time in the basement playing a hunting video game. M and A were close to their newborns. The ladies migrated from the kitchen to the table to the living room. And most of the grown up boys found their way to the newly repaired 4-wheelers and proceeded to tear up the back yard scaring and delighting the kidlets with their speedy stops and starts.
Daddy (Uncle J) with his boy J and nephew N after a jaunt up the street.
The funniest thing of all that day was when 5 year old A, being the unpredictable little elf that she is, took the push pins from the upstairs bulletin board in the playroom and stuck one in each of her five fingers. "It doesn't hurt!?
Little S, after a nice big burp - Aaaah!
I'm hoping to figure out how to download some video here, so check this space again later.
