We are so excited tonight because our BYU Cougars (ranked #20 in college football) were crazy enough to have scheduled to play Oklahoma (ranked #3) in the new Dallas Cowboys Stadium in Texas.  We know that schedules are set up years in advance, but really, Oklahoma?  In Texas? In a brand new, monstrous, state of the art stadium?  First game of the season?  Were they NUTS?
As my dad would have said, They're crazy like a fox!  And as we all know, those foxes are very clever.  Well, if the Bowl Championship Series folks aren't convinced that the Mountain West Conference deserves some serious consideration when it comes to being part of the college championship system, then they're the ones who are nuts now.
Here are some links as of now, just an hour and a half after the game is over.

I'm sure this win will rank up there with the BYU victory over #1 ranked Miami in 1984 to start their national championship season.  B, his girlfriend (also B) and their friend J got so excited that J's head dented our basement ceiling!
(In case you're wondering, no it's not a Bud, it's hard core root beer!)

Ummm, BYU vs. Miami was in 1990 not 1984, and this BYU-Oklahoma game was actually scheduled this year, both teams had an empty spot.
