Christmas Eve is a busy time. Grandma Lillian traditionally has a Christmas Eve dinner and I usually do the gingerbread houses (see post below) and make candy in the afternoon. T usually has some wrapping and last minute shopping to get done. I was pretty proud that most of the gifts were wrapped before we went to the Las Vegas Bowl and expected the day to be more relaxing than usual, but somehow stuff to do always creeps in. Here are a few shots of the evening.
I make a Book of Anderson each Christmas. It's a history of the family told in short narrative and lots of pictures. It is truly a labor of love. Lots of LABOR and lots of love. It has become something everyone likes to see each year and refer to. Every year I want to never do it again, but I always do... Here's Grandma looking at the book. She seemed excited.
Since I had all the pictures on the computer (well, actually on three different computers) I thought I'd put together a calendar. Printing it was one of the things that spilled over into Christmas Eve morning. But I got one made for each family, for the grandmas and also for B's girlfriend.
