- An hour of computer work first thing in the morning
- Trimmed the front plants of their dead stalks
- Cleaned out the beds so that I could re-mulch
- Beat the storm and got the front bed planted!
- Moved ALL the mulch by noon! (My goal was to move at least one shovelful)
- Threw the dog her toy, repeated, repeated, repeated
- Took a warm bath to soothe my old muscles
- Sewed a new cover for my hope chest including a neat braided trim and two pillows to match.
- Went to Orem and picked up the tile for the new house backsplash
- Picked up special ordered upholstery fabric to recover dining room chairs
- Unloaded a bunch of stuff at new house
- Met hubby at new house and decided to revamp our backsplash plans since we are novice tilers (we're still doing it, just a different design)
- Went to daughter A's and did a special Easter FHE for her and her kids
- Came home and watched 24
I wouldn't have been able to do all this without a strong, healthy body. The shoulder is still stiff and I think that will take a while to eventually work out, and the knee that is only 4 weeks post-op is still tender and is swollen by night, but my body works! I am really grateful!
The storm came in and the yard is covered with an inch of the white stuff AGAIN. However, I got a lot done in advance of it and can sit here while I type and look at my frozen yard with a peaceful feeling instead of being all stressed out.
I'll post pictures of my beautiful brown flower beds after the snow melts.
You need to fix your camera, pictures are worth more than a thousand words. I love that you keep your blog updated, but I love the pictures even more.
