D and his buddies have spent time creating forts to protect themselves from their enemies. D is on the right with the gray cap. The grass on the right is the destination you get to when entering the hole on the left which can be closed over to prevent anyone seeing the hole. It was very cold this day but the boys were sweating from their efforts!
I guess I must have been the enemy!
It's hard at first to realize that anyone is in there.
What a precious face!
If I were a ten year old boy, I would LOVE to play in there!
"I" turned 8! She had a fun birthday party with "stations" for her friends - nail painting, craft, bingo and, of course, presents and cake and ice cream. Nana helped with the nail painting and craft.
If I were an 8 year old girl, I would also LOVE having a party like this!
Aren't they cute? Especially the one right in the middle with the beautiful smile:)
November has lots of Anderson family birthdays and on the 2nd Sunday fandamily dinner sons-in-law J, the BBQ're, S, the superman runner, daughter, Hubby and "I" were honored. But Hubby was on a trip, so I took the leftover cake down to his work when he got back and it was gone in about 20 minutes! Costco makes great cakes at reasonable prices.
Daughter-in-law A, pushed out her prego tummy as much as possible so that I could send this pic to Elder B. We're excited for her!
This big boy Z peeking inside the cardboard playhouse that the older grand kidlest colored. Inside was big girl S. They had a good time playing a sort of toddler hide and seek.
Big girl S sees big boy Z.
Big boy M liked the cake!
He also liked the snow that started to fall just as everyone was starting to leave.
More second Sunday fun...
I love 2nd Sundays!
