Tradition Number Three

The next tradition has been going on since the Anderson children could walk.  Each Christmas Eve, after dinner but before the one present is opened and the kids try to go to sleep despite the excitement, we settle down and remember what Christmas is really about.  Luke 2 and Matthew 2 are read and the kids and/or grandkidlets act out the part.  A couple of years ago we got a great deal on some child size nativity costumes and we've used them ever since.  Here are some pictures of our dinner at Grandma A's recreation room in her new complex. We had a lovely dinner, portrayed the nativity and then exchanged gifts.
