Feeling Old Today

I started this post on the Monday after we "sprang forward" for Daylight Savings Time but couldn't finish it because I ran out of space in Picasa for my pictures.  I finally got more room and so now, here comes the message I started last week.

Who invented Daylight Savings Time?  If that person is still alive he shouldn't be!  Every Spring I think it is totally dumb because I drag around for a week trying to get used to it.

I have decided that I am going to try and make up for the insomnia I had last night by laying around this morning.  Yes, it is a Monday and yes, I should be working, but NO I am not going to.  I am wiped out.  We had lots of fun family stuff going on the last few days, much involving little ones and I got about 3.5 hours of sleep.  So, while I slowly warm up and settle into the couch, here are some pics of two of the grandkidlets sacking out in my bed one night last week.  I think they both got a kick out of it...
J loves to fall asleep watching tv in my bed!
On Friday, Daughter M and her husband, the super runner, celebrated their 6th anniversary.  We got to watch little S overnight.  She enjoyed her french toast and bacon the next morning.
They watched the house rising out of the dirt in the backyard.
She and her other musketeer cousins love the bathtub and turning the handle.
We also put on make-up and nail polish

2nd Sunday dinner was this past Sunday.  I had invited everyone to a non-electronic meal meaning we actually talked and played games without our electronic devices!  That's pretty hard in this day and age, but I persevered!  First was a yummy rib dinner with everyone pitching in.

You can see how close the new house is to our deck.  I am anxious to put up a fence and some TALL trees!

Sometimes we spread out very informally.  Yours truly decided to get in touch with my inner child- okay, I'm as granddaughter "I" put it, "You're sort of part kid, Nana!" -  and sit with the grandkidlets.  What a great compliment!
We celebrated the March Anni-birthdays with grandson J, daughter A, M & S (anniversary) and Grandma (anniversary with dear, departed Grandad).

That chocolate cake from Costco was so YUMMY!

After dinner we played a version of $100,000 Pyramid and a word game.  It was really fun!

After that, naturally at least one of the 3 Musketeers wanted a bath.  This time it was M and Z.  What splashers they were!
Gradually everyone started to leave.  However, the fun wasn't over yet!

Yes, we encourage kissing cousins in our family!
And since this profile will be ending soon, I wanted a picture on the blog for the last time -
Baby Anderson will make his debut this week!
