T'were the Nights Before Christmas

What an amazing Christmas we've had in our home!  I'll let the pictures tell the story...
My friend gave me a train to give to one of my cute grandkidlets.  M was the lucky recipient a couple of days before Christmas.  He LOVES "Choo Tracks!"
On Christmas Eve we had two of the kids and their families over.  We decided at the last minute to have a sit-down ham dinner.  I think it looks very festive!
Baby "I" sucks his thumb.  Sometimes his other finger finds it's way into his nose!  I laughed hard!
The annual nativity re-enactment complete with 8 month old Baby "I" Jesus, his real life mom A Mary, Donkey J, Camel Z, Kings K, M and Hubby (not in picture)
All Three Kings and their camel
 Joseph is son, J.
J, S's hubby, played the role of the one and only shepherd with his one and only lamb (who has seen so many of these re-enactments that his ear is falling off!)
Yours truly who looks so sad, but really isn't.  I love reading Luke 2 and Matthew 2 every Christmas Eve!
Z was really interested in the Bible
Each year I scour the kitchen for "gold, frankincence, and myrrh."  We usually end up with a silver gravy ladle, a gold candlestick and silver tray.

After the spiritual carols singing, the kids boogied to Jingle Bells!
Did you know you can track where Santa is on Christmas Eve?  The boys didn't, but I showed them how to see where Santa has been and where he has delivered presents via norad.com.  They were enthralled!
J had received a special message from Santa this year via a video on the internet.  Here he is watching it just after the part where the elves' special Naughty or Nice? machine turns the green light on meaning he was a Nice Boy this year!  Look how excited he is!
One of Hubby's employees is a great musician and so are the members of his family.  They came over and sang three beautiful songs for us as a gift.  It was such a lovely gesture and we felt the Spirit of Christmas when they sang for us.

Then we went to bed and didn't worry about the prancing and pawing of any little hooves.
