February Fun

It's always nice to get done with January, don't you think?  I'm not complaining about January too much (because as you might remember I got to spend a week in Paradise), but January is sort of generally a slow, gray month.  February brings bright red hearts, love and birthdays to our family.

 S and her mama came over early for 2nd Sunday dinner and S decided that cousin A's birthday cake should have only PINK CANDLES, NANA!  So they put them on 

 Hubby and I found a great deal on a darling little kitchen to put in the grandkidlets' playroom.  He got plenty of help putting it together.

 Daughter S was in a baking mood, so willing assistant "I" and Auntie S made yummy chocolate cookies together. 

 D is turning 12!!!  A is turning 8!!

 Son-in-law J, the other Ute, has so many talents!  He's an artist, an amazing student (going to Vanderbilt to interview for their PhD program next week), a loving husband, lovely piano player and, as you can see in this picture, a very patient and fun uncle!

 The little kitchen all set up.  The youngest to oldest had fun with this new toy.

 S has an egg in her PINK bowl.  She is also dressed all in PINK.  Can you tell what her favorite color it?
