I was NOT happy, but the grass and the plants were, so I got over it!
On Saturday, 8 year old beautiful granddaughter "A" was baptized by her father. We are very proud of her decision to accept the sacrifice of Jesus Christ for her. She was very well-prepared for this decision and she also so lovely in her white dress that her mom had made special for her.
A and her pleased father.
All of our family enjoyed a nice meal at A's house, complete with some singing by a few of the boys.
Hubby and I had filled and hidden 116 eggs in the front and backyard and after the baptism everyone came over for an Easter Egg Hunt.
Some of the eggs had tokens inside good for real, green money! J here knows how good it is to get money!
Youngest daughter, S, who doesn't yet have any babies, got to find and keep her prizes!
After everyone else left, I kept an eye on these two who found yots and yots of pine cones in the backyard!
They also enjoyed showing me their own belly buttons.
And when they came in, they were both barking dogs!
They were so cute when I got them some books to look at. Without any prompting whatsoever from me, they each chose a place to sit to do their reading! It was a beautiful day.
