Fly Far and Strong Little Bird!

It has been a very weird summer!  We learned a few weeks ago that the reason poor Hubby had been feeling so sick and feverish for so many weeks this summer was due to Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma!  After many tests, biopsies and doctor appointments, he has had his first chemo-therapy, did really well (some nausea and fatigue) and is happy to know what has been making him feel so bad.  Lymphoma is a very treatable cancer, according to his oncologist, so he is focused on the future and getting this battle behind him.  Our family and friends have been awesome and we totally feel the love and prayers.  I do not hesitate to ask for them - from you!

If you are interested in reading about this journey Hubby is on, let me know via the comment section and you can be invited to the private blog.

Last Friday some of the family helped load up the truck and clean up S & J's cute apartment.  The youngest little bird and her husband are moving to Tennessee for grad school.  Although S has lived away from home for years, this is a long move for them.

M and S helped clean walls
 So did "I"
Saying good-bye - biggest sister, littlest sister
Most of the group - two little grandkidlets were playing with snails instead of posing - gross.  Totally gross.
 S and big brother J.

It was very hard for S to say good-bye to her nieces.
J has been so cute with all the little ones.  They will miss him.

S and J came down to our house after packing up and, although this picture if blurry, I didn't want to leave it out because S loves her Daddy so much and they will both miss each other.
Blurry pic of the biggest blubber head of all.  I am still crying!
