Twas the Night Before Christmas

 Hubby and I woke up way before anyone else on Christmas Eve this year and planned to go on a walk with Shadow dog.  We hadn't looked outside until we were ready to leave.  We realized we were taking a risk because a winter storm had come through.  It was beautiful and we were glad we went!

Despite the looks on Hubby and the dog's faces, they really enjoyed it.  My happiness shows on my face.

We do a puzzle or two or three each Christmas and this one got done pretty fast.

J makes the BEST rolls and each time there is a family meal where we want yeast bread, he gets enlisted!

 

B and his sister, S, started this chess  game, but eventually S got lots of help.  I'm told B won!

Following a yummy dinner at G'ma's clubhouse, we returned home to do the live Nativity.  It was the best one yet!

 Here we have the Innkeeper (K with Baby R hidden), I, J, N and S as Kings, M with Baby M as Mary and Jesus with D as Joseph.

 "A" made a great, lonely shepherd with two sheep and a staff.

Baby R was dressed appropriately for Christmas Eve!
