No offense, Mom, but I used to think it was sort of weird that you would leave my kids' handprints on your patio door, or the writing on the chalkboard long after we had left after a visit! Now that I am fully into this delightful season of my life called grandparenthood, I find that some of the messes are just plain cute! Look at the pictures I took last week - a very messy playroom was created when A, I and N were over one night and went upstairs to play. I love what N designed and the pleased look on his face. The playroom is still just like that several days later and each time I look in as I pass by, I smile! I don't pick it up - maybe tomorrow, but not today.
Notice how the Barbie cars are playing chicken? hahaOf course, if there is any way to get the hair dressers-in-training to mess with my hair, I am a very willing model. By the end of that night I had at least 12 hair clips, bobby pins, or other assorted pokey hair thing-a-ma-bobs stuck in my hair. I loved every minute of it!
