I have pet names for the latest grandkidlets. S is S-aroo, M is Spike, and Z is Speedy or Speed Demon. Lately, I've gotten a few pictures of S-aroo. She is very dainty. She loves using the walker I let her borrow - the kind they don't sell anymore because they are too "dangerous"... But she doesn't want to crawl. Her daddy calls her "lazy." I think she is just smart.
Before her Uncle J left to serve a mission about 9 years ago, his first nephew as just a little baby like S. Uncle J put him on a motorcycle and we took a picture. I'll try to find the picture and post it here another time, but here is one of Uncle B doing the same with Baby S.
Uncle B got his motorcycle running and I think it looks pretty good. Probably the next time Baby S-aroo is on the motorcycle she'll be more than 2 years old!
I've also been telling daughter M, that babies love to gnaw on chicken leg bones. M thinks that is pretty gross. (She doesn't remember drooling all over a chicken bone when she was little and screaming when I took it away, but i do!) Tonight I was allowed to give Baby S a bone. She LOVED it!
Baby S, her mommy and especially her daddy were a big help to us today as we packed up some of our food storage items and shelves and also stuff in the shop cupboards and took them to the new house. Moving after 22 years is a big job; one that won't be done for over a month. Well, as they say, Rome wasn't built in a day (it probably took about 22 years)!
