I will explain...
Ragnar was a 9th century Norse King. He was a pirate, a raider, a conqueror, an explorer, and a wild man. The tough, fearless, rugged attributes of this Norse King are shared by all who participate in a Ragnar Relay. Daughter M, and her husband, S, the superman runner, participated again in the Wasatch Back Ragnar Relay in June. It's a 188 mile relay race from Logan, Utah to Park City with about 1000 teams participating. This year S was instrumental in organizing an elite male and elite female teams.
Their sponsor was Nordik Track and guess, what? BOTH their teams won! Here are pictures of the teams.
M is the one right in the middle front with glasses on her head and a number on her jersey.
Superman runner , S, is kneeling in the front.
What an amazing pair these two are!
What is the "Think System?" Well, if you know anything about Gary, Indiana, or the Class of 1905 or Professor Harold Hill, then you might recall what the Think System is about. Of course! It's from the musical, "The Music Man." Daughter A, her husband J, the original Ute and their four talented children auditioned for and performed in a local community theater's production of the Music Man last week. J was "Marcellus," a substantial part, and A was a "talk-a-lot lady," Ethel somebody or other... Their littlest one, N, stole the show as the littlest member of the cast. Big siblings D, I and A were adorable!
It's hard to see them, but their family was featured in this carriage at the American Fork City Celebration Parade. In costume. Very hot!
Some of the cast. You can click on this picture and enlarge it to see the kids up close. D and N are sitting side by side in the front row. N is the smallest. They are both wearing berets and D is on the left of N. The girls I and A are sitting in the front row to the left of the boy in a blue vest and light blue shirt.
Sorry, I should have rotated this first. Ethel and Marcellus AKA A and J.
After the show. N was VERY tired! Lovely costumes, right? A just loved hers....
And now, on to Potty Parties. The picture below should give you a hint.
Big Boy J, is no longer wearing diapers! Notice the big boy pants...
Since Big Boy J had filled all the spots on his potty chart, he earned a party and he chose bowling. If bowling had been this easy when I was little, I might have enjoyed bowling, too. He got at least two strikes that night!
No strikes for me...
This was much more fun!
There have been more things going on, like birthday parties, but no time to update those right now. I'm off on more summertime adventures...
