Mmmm Mmmmm Good!

When the family comes over on the 2nd Sunday of each month, I always ask what they would like to bring.  Today the BBQ'er J made delicious brisket and also smoked turkey.  S brought a pasta salad, A her luscious funeral potatoes, daughter-in-law A jello salad and daughter M brought sugar cookie dough for the grandkidlets to make and decorate after dinner.  That was our dessert.  Well, it became a very floury and dusty place!

Here's how pretty the tables were.  Since there are often more than 20 for these dinners, we usually use disposable plates and cups.  But it's Christmastime, so I went all out.  Candles, tall glasses, napkin rings, candles.
Hubby and I need to invest in some folding chairs.  We scrounged all over the house for enough seats for everyone.
I made a table just for "the boys."  They seemed to love being at their own table!
The beginning of the cookie production
J really got into it with his daddy.
By the time the cookies were done, the entire countertop was covered with sprinkles and white flour!
The three musketeers.  They're just about too big for me to hold all together on my lap.  At one point, S, right in the middle, slipped between my legs almost down to the floor!
The was taken just after she started going down.
Yummy, Mama.  Taste the cookie dough!
 Beautiful!
N didn't want to take the time to cheese it up for me.  But he did try!
 A did a good job.
"I" took some of the frosting home to decorate some more.
