This year we decided to do tiny Gingerbread Houses and create a village rather than two or three monstrous houses where two or three grandkidlets hassle over what will be done on this roof or that and often are not happy with the end result. The village idea was a hit! See the process -
I bought two kits - no making them from scratch for me when the kits cost less than $10 each. My time is worth more than that! It took a couple of hours to assemble them which I did the night before.
Here are four of the grandkidlets working hard on the afternoon of Christmas Eve.
The fifth came a little later but got right to work.
The beautiful and colorful end result!
Little houses are much easier to eat than big ones!
But gingerbread houses are HARD!
Graham crackers work to...LOL!
