Another Day

All I know is that tomorrow we leave to come home.  Wah!

Hubby spent yesterday making sales calls on the other side of the island.  He said they were good, not great, there is potential.  He had some trouble finding some of the addresses, but came home with an emptier sample bag, which is good because we have some souvenirs to put in it.

What did I do?  Let's just say, I'm learning to hang loose!  It took me a few days to learn to throw my cares away, but I've done it.  Work?  What work?  I was going to catch up on some stuff, but that's not going to happen.  I may be sorry next week, but I'm betting I'll not be so sorry.  If I am, I'll refer to this blog which is reminding me how great it is to reload once in a while and since my bucket was pretty empty and now it's not, this time of hanging loose has been a good idea.  We DID get back to the PCC last night for the show "Ha, the Breath of Life."  We enjoyed it and detected an unmistakable LDS influence in the message of a family going not just from island to island with the accompanying music and dance styles, but traveling the road from birth to death with respect for the family a solid theme.  No pictures were allowed, so refer to the Polynesian Cultural Center Website for a summary.

This morning we arrived at the Laie LDS Temple for  a session in the temple at 8 AM.  When we arrived we were told that I might need a shawl to wear because we were the only couple there and therefore the room would be cold!  However, we ended up in a group of about 12 people.  This temple is very small and in an endowment session you get to move from one room to another.  It was very nice and the celestial room was small but very beautiful.

I have refrained from taking pictures of things that don't include people and that you can find anywhere, but I was intrigued by the flowers on this bush.
These flowers are absolutely white and pure and they smell lovely.
Hubby making a scrumptious omelet with "everything."  He enjoyed it, but I ate an apple out in the sun.
I think I've read two or three of those supermarket rags that tell us all about how thin we should be, what clothes look better on whom, who modeled nude and who's upset about it and who's divorcing after a "long" (9 month) marriage.  And I have finished one book on my Kindle, am loving reading Matthew in the New Testament on it, and have started another book.
I prefer to live like this.  Slightly pudgy, wrinkled, spoiled and relatively happy.  I have my family, my Lord, my Hubby AND the comforts of a queen.  Who could want for more?  Certainly not me!
