Super Sunday

Super Sundays are those Sundays when we get spiritually fed early in the day and then the whole Anderson Family gets together in the later part of the day!  This last Sunday was exceptional.  The weather was finally relatively decent and everyone was there.  The kids and grandkidlets came about 5 and didn't leave till 9 or later.
Here Z, "I" and "A" set to work on coloring the masks they will use in a special theatrical performance planned for after dinner.
J, the Cougar, got a hold of the Lion House Cook Book, some butter, flour, yeast and other secret ingredients, creating these monstrous and delicious rolls!
Some of the fam, including Elder B's sweetheart B, helping in the kitchen and looking very cute!
The stars of the play - the Crazy Statue of Liberty (left staring "I"), and the Princess ("A").  Note the lovely princess costume in pink!  Our seats were on the lawn, looking up.
The scary pirates and their sidekick M.
Since swords were not readily available, rulers were the next best thing.  You could hear an "aargh" on occasion!
Several scenes required the actors to intimidate someone in the audience on the grass.
During "intermission" S and M became fassinated by the wheels on the bikes.  They are so cute how they look back and forth at each other as if trying to decide what sort of trouble they can get into together.
K and A joined the "performance."  We all laughed our dinners up (not really, but it was so funny) when the two girls who used to keep their parents captive in the basement of our old house when they were 5th and 3rd grade, performing special dances, decided to reprise their roles.  Way back then, at least twice the neighbor girls' parents were also invited over to our house and we watched four little girls in red leotards jump from the hearth, then leap and twirl to the other end of the basement family room.  Usually to the music of Whitney Houston.  Both A and K pointed out today that their performances were also well decorated with cardboard stars wrapped in foil and hung from the ceiling.  I think it's so funny that now their children are doing the same thing!
After all the great food and lively entertainment, we sang happy birthday to our May and June birthdays - M, N, Nana, J, the 1st Ute, and J, the 2nd Ute, Great Grandma (not in picture), and A the mama of the three boys.  We missed the song last 2nd Sunday because it was Mother's Day and Elder B's call sorta kinda took precedence!
We all enjoyed that yummy cake, especially M who got it all over his cute little face!  (I think he did this on purpose so he would have to take a bath in Nana's massive tub!)
After the other two triplets joined M in the bathtub, D and S played around on the bed and we found out how badly braces and heads can mess up skin when mashed together.  D has a cut and shredded lip from his braces and S's head has a bump and cut just above her right eyebrow.
Fed, bathed, and ready for a little night music!  They do this spontaneously sometimes.  I can't wait to watch  these three's performances!
Baby "I" hangin out with the girls!  I not only smiles, but laughs now!  I love it!
D and S, with a little help from Z, playing Settlers of Cataan.  Everyone else was just hangin out and talking, enjoying the pretty weather and each other.  It was a great Sunday!
