Ole, Ole,Ole, Ole, Ole - Real Salt Lake!

Hubby and I bought the "pass of all passes" this year.  That really is the name!  It entitles us to go to a local water park and ride the slides as much as we want this summer.  Woohoo. (note the sarcasm).  It is also good at local miniature golfing, lazer tag and other things such as skiing for free at Wolf Mountain (which we did in February) and attending a Real Salt Lake soccer game (Woohoo!!! - no sarcasm)

So yesterday we met J and A's family at the TRAX station one stop away from the stadium, bought our tickets and the boys got their first train ride!
Z and J watching the tickets come out of the machine.

They became very aware of the yellow line for fear of a train running over them.  It's a good, healthy fear to instill in them since there have been so many accidents and fatalities this year involving the trains.
All three Anderson boys.  They LOVED the train.  We need to do it again, but take a longer trip next time.
 A and J
Hubby and me at the stadium.  We were three rows from the field FOR FREE!
Daughter S and husband J met us there, too.
RSL beat the Montreal Impact 1 - 0!
Being so close to the sideline, we got our 15 seconds of fame more than once when the cameraman turned around and pointed his camera at us.  We really hammed it up!  But we had no idea if our silliness made it to the public until we were driving home.  Son-in-law J was watching the game on tape delay and saw us.  He saved the recording and I took a picture of us on his television. I also videotaped it...
You're right - Embarrassing.  I have absolutely no pride:)
But if my grandkids remember the fun we had, ask me if I care!
