So Hubby picked up a pallet of sod and we enlisted the aid of the kids. I quickly got this picture before too much was done. The patch in the foreground was laid last year.
Hubby borrowed the business' flatbed and pulled it alongside the garage.
Hubby threw sod in the wheelbarrow and Son J used his muscles to bring sod down to J, the BBQ'r, me and some little helpers.
I love that the little people want to help, too! Their parents are such good examples.
Beautiful I, who is a terrific babysitter, was a huge help entertaining the little ones.
Funny things happen when adults are working and little kids wander around. Someone decided that helmets should be worn. Or maybe they thought that IF helmets were worn an ATV would be used. Whatever the reason, it's funny to see these little people look like bobble head dolls with those big helmets on their miniature bodies!
The bobbleheads got their wish!
The green carpet. I'd love to have the whole yard, pool and everything done RIGHT NOW, but since that's not possible I will be happy with croquet and badminton down here!
At our house, this bathtub is like a major treat! Here is granddaughter S with the youngest of the Anderson clan, I, playing off the dirt. And it wasn't long before the bobbleheads wanted a turn in the tub...
But first things first!!!!!
