A Whole Bunch of Animals

The Zoo.  I love animals.  But sometimes I feel very sorry for them.  So I don't go to the zoo too often.  However, this week we decided to visit the nearby zoo and I was happy with the changes in the zoo since the last time.

 This little elephant is about the same age as our three toddlers - approaching 3 years.  He was really fun to watch and this enclosure is so much better now than it was the last time we visited.

Z liked the fake animals, too.  There are some beautiful bronze sculptures throughout

 This was a replication of an eagle's nest, but these two are Cuckoo birds!

 Because of the back brace, we got Grammy an electric scooter.  She was very, very popular at the zoo!  I can't imagine why!

 The sea lion enclosure is really awesome.

 You could see from underneath the water as well.  One seal was swimming all around, doing flips underwater, swimming upside down and basically putting on a show.

 All boys are drawn to caves and these three are no exception.

 It was fun to get so up close to this sleeping tiger.

 "I" would have ridden the scooter all day if given the chance!

 Once in a while I get to give the camera to someone else.

 There were two giraffes that we could see and this one got pretty close.

 Grandpa (Hubby) was good at pushing the stroller.

I liked the zoo this time and we only got 1 1/2 hours there.  I want to go back!
