A Beautiful Day

S and J, who are going to move to Nashville at the end of this week so that J can pursue his doctorate at Vanderbilt University, invited us to spend the day at his family's cabin.  It was so beautiful there - sunny, warm, with clear blue skies and little white puffs of clouds.  The week's worries were left far behind.
Hubby enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the activity.
There is lots of pasture land and area for play.  When we arrived there was a baseball game going on.  That little 5 year old J, the little Cougar, can really hit a ball!
J and I had a great time on the swingset.  I had forgotten how much fun you can have being a kid!
I really got up there!  I love it!
Son, J, the Cougar, tried riding with little J, but his knees kept hitting the side.
There are 4 horses that live up in this beautiful place and the kids and grown-ups really enjoyed taking rides.
Even little S, who was scared, loved getting on the horsey.
Z got a turn as well.
Daughter-in-law A LOVES horses!

Two of the "triplets" are now three.  Which one is not?
M was killin' the bees cause one bited him!
K and J taking a turn with sister S in the blue.  K was brave to do this because she's 5 months pregnant!
Hey, don't hit me with that stick.  Well, then get up the ladder faster!
The little grandkidlet, "I," who decided if he couldn't get on the swing, he'd at least push it!
Daddy and his little girl.  These two will miss each other when she moves across the country this week.  Sob.
S and M found some cowboy hats and proceeded to yell, Yee Haw!  I think they must both have been killing those nasty bees that bite you!
M and Benson got into a tug of war with the rope.  When Benson couldn't win that battle, he took something else...
M's cowboy hat!  Everyone was laughing except M!
