Granddaughter, A, the natural drama princess, was cast as a child in Alta High's "the King and I" for which her dad created the choreography. She was adorable and we are very proud, even if we didn't really recognize her with black hair!
My mom came out from Tahoe for Thanksgiving this year. We missed my dad who's spending the holidays in heaven with his extended family, but we had a terrific time with Mom/Grammy! We had family pictures Thanksgiving morning, came home and finished the feast, ate, cleaned, ate, cleaned, watched tv (and then I cleaned up some more). Mom visited the kids in each of their homes, she got to know the new great grandkidlets. We shopped and ate a lot, watched football games and ate some more. I'm forgetting so much, I'm sure, so as you scroll through the pictures, you might notice things I forgot...
Two grandbabies who don't really like "tummy time," but were very cute trying to like it!
A better picture of Baby Z on Thanksgiving Day. He's learning to enjoy games with the family!
Huge Family!!!!!
The picture below is only part of the crowd for dinner. There was a total of 21, not including four months old or younger (3)
Some played....
Some watched others play...
D and his dad arrived home just in time to see the UTES LOSE! But D was no loser. His soccer team took second place at the tournament they attended in St. George! Go Arsenal!
Whew! I'm sure I missed some things. I'll post more pictues after a little rest from the weekend. The work week will be so much more tame....
But before signing off, I must add how very grateful I am to live in such comfortable circumstances where I can worship as I choose in a country that, despite her problems, still values the individual's pursuit of happiness. This weekend, I think pursuit did indeed result in happiness:)
