There used to be days when I made the bread bowls myself - those were the days before I went to Hawaii to relax! I didn't have to make any soup myself this time. M brought minestrone, A brought broccoli cheese and J the BBQ'er brought french onion. They were all yuuuuuuumy!
We also had many sweets, chips and other junk.
Daughter M got hold of the camera and started snapping pics of the activity during the game. You can tell we were soooo excited! It was a good game and I was happy my good old Packers won.
Shadow dog was right in the middle of the toys, the people . . . and the shoes (?)
Grandsons J and D both got hold of the I-pads and showed Nana how to play. Nana found watching the game more fun than playing theirs.
Granddaughter "A" in the playroom. Notice that it's quite a mess, by design. Someone had closed this bonus room above our garage. When I opened it late Sunday afternoon, it was freezing! We have a radiator that we use in advance of the grandkidlets coming over and then remove before they come over so they don't get burned, and I usually leave the door open so it's not usually that cold. I didn't check soon enough on Sunday. We decided to turn the radiator on and barricade it so the toddlers didn't burn their hands.
Daughter M, with the camera, conspired with "A" and "I" to provide some funny pictures. Can you tell they're faking sleep? Note how their mouths turn up! Definitely close to cracking a smile if you ask me!
What darling girls! Nana loves you, too!
Hubby was still feeling the affects of the red-eye flight we took the night before.
Look at S. She's getting so big!
Quick, call the police! Someone stabbed the girls! What funny little actresses!
I'm glad you found the pictures. The girls sure had fun deciding how to pose, and what to say on their signs. The Superbowl extravaganza was great!
