Happy Times

Back when Hubby was a young man (with hair) he worked for Monier, a manufacturer of concrete roof tiles.  One of his colleagues was Tony Gillette.  The two men have kept in touch for more than 30 years through many career changes, ups and downs.  Tony has been a good friend through thick and thin.  He and his wife took a vacation at Yellowstone and made a special trip down to visit Hubby.  It was delightful to see them.

Our second Sunday meal in September always includes a birthday cake.  Most months there are several people blowing out the candles, but in September it's only K.  However, that did not stop various little children of the male persuasion from crowding around hoping for a piece of chocolate frosting!  Happy B-day, K!

Following are some random pictures I took with my I-phone.  I am so happy I have that phone.  It's not only an amazing smartphone, but it's got a really decent camera!
One day I needed to take our puppy for an outing and decided to pick up grandson, D, and take him with me.  He is such a great kid!  We all enjoyed our visit to the pond, especially Shadow dog who must have some fish genes in her DNA.
 She does LOVE it.
Here's a picture of my sweet Princess Gigglepuss at her first dance lesson!
We also made another fun trip down to Red Lobster and several of the fam got their Endless Shrimp feast.  Of course, yours truly WAS there, but I am almost always the one behind the camera!
 We did chow down.
